some people just like to hate I guess...he's clearly not a jerk like some of the guys and his game is actually fascinating to watch with how early he takes the ball

Some posters just have no respect for great defenders and counter-punchers. All they seem to want is wham-bam-thank you Ma'am attackers all the time. They need to develop a more mature and nuanced approach to the game and for these type of players.

I've never found aces and service winners entertaining, so its very hard to understand.

Ridiculous that, despite defending his title in Acapulco, his ranking will drop 1 place to #10 on Monday. :unsure:

But he has close to 0p to defend between now and Queen's. Lost early in IW, Miami, MC, Madrid, Rome and RG last year. Seeing how close players are between #7 and #15, someone like De Minaur could easily be ranked #6 in June.
