Only just tuned in to see Zverev arguing so I don’t yet know what went on. However, an umpire sits on their bum in a chair all day, so I’m not sure what their weight has to do with anything. Can you explain?

A clear double bounce on set point but she gave the point to Gaston, and at least two controversial calls where she also favoured Gaston and she gave zverev a warning for exceeding the shot clock that was also unfair as the delay came from his opponent towelling off. And on clay umpires have to go check marks all the time and this one needs 30 seconds just to climb back to her chair. At Roland Garros she was involved in a couple of controversies but I can’t remember the details right now. A player asked for her to be removed.

Just watched the clips on Twitter of the double bounce, where she was definitely wrong. Can understand Zverev’s annoyance. I’ll take your word for it on the other incidents.
Lol no she didn’t. She can get up and down from the chair just fine. Look, she’s arguably a crap umpire and you’re right in your criticism but it’s got nothing to do with her being overweight.

Hurkacz, one of the nicest players on tour, wanted her to be removed in RG. She has done big blunders recently. Her umpiring was abysmal yesterday. Maybe she was a great umpire in the past but she has deteriorated a lot. The double bounce couldn’t have been more evident. It even left a mark on the clay.

That’s what I thought. He had just injected himself with insulin, probably too much. He looked like he was shaking during the game. I think the trainer gave him sugar.
