Have to give Rublev a lot of credit for the fight today, he did well, and Alcaraz showing why he is the best in the world right now.
Copy that, man. Haven't watched a Rublev match in a while - dude plays with heart, put up a good contest, giving Carlitos plenty of back-chat! Carlitos did the necessary, but losing serve when he was serving for the match the first time was somewhat remiss. As you say though, he addressed the blip and took it in straights. Fascinating to see the improved steadiness in attitude and execution.

12 out of his last 13 tournaments he's been in the finals, 3 slam wins in the last 9 months. This is a historically peaky run by Carlos, just crazy good.
Simply superb stuff, man. Dude is 22 years old and building an outstanding resume. Looking forward to his further endeavours.

here we go...

Sinner: "Every player goes through ups and downs. I've had two incredible years, and now I'm in a little 'down,' but it's not something that worries me. I know I can play better tennis, but Jakub played and served really well.

Everyone in our job has ups and downs; I'm not worried. We try to improve in every tournament I take part in: I'd like to go as far as possible, but it's normal to go through some tough moments—I've had even tougher ones in the past. I know how to come back.

I'm a bit sorry for how I handled some moments, but it can happen. Indian Wells will be the next stop; we'll focus on that after a couple of days of rest. We have two weeks to work, including on the physical side. I maybe made 2/3 wrong choices; I wasn't at my sharpest, but it can happen. There are moments I have to go through, and that every tennis player has gone through. I hope to bounce back as soon as possible.

Overall, everything's fine; I'm not making a big deal out of this moment. It's all okay"
He should skip 500 level. I'm sure playing every day for a week isn't for his body. Not everyone has Djokovic's body. Nadal won 14 at Rolland Garros but the last one he had to have continual shots to shut out the pain. He was a real black knight at the end. His body was always bad and he just pushed it too far.

not in NY he wasn't, and now he can't even get to him...you can talk scoreboard, I see the play....he's not dictating as he was
Yes, Carlos dominated in NY. Nobody is denying that.

But Sinner basically dominated in the French and then choked. Dominated in Wimbledon. And then dominated in the Tour Finals. You can even thrown in that 6 Kings Nonsense if you want.

Just saying, it's not looking so bad.
