At Queen's courtside right now, Alcaraz knows he can win very comfortably against RBA but I feel he's giving his countryman respect and let him have his time in this SF
Hey, man - hope you've enjoyed the proceedings. Would enjoy a note of your experience.

Sexy serving from Carlos. Great level overall.

Must have already hit 12+ aces. Pacy and on great spots.
Yah, man. Ended with 15 aces, apparently the highest by Carlitos in a 3 set match. Despite looking as though he was in 3rd gear, he was incisive when needed, through without bother. They showed some stats, and if I understood it, apparently Carlitos is 3rd quickest player to reach 250 match wins. Kid keeps company with the legends. Superb stuff. Excellent run by RBA, well done to him.

Enjoyed the first sf. I've watched Lehecka play - was reminded of his lethal serve / power and can play strategically. He outplayed Draper when needed in the 1st and decider, and it was Draper who looked nervous at times, not JL who retains a stoic demeanour when playing.

The final is likely to be well contested, hope it's a good one.
Alcaraz is built different on grass, his shot making, drop shots and offensive play is sooooo good on this surface

at the same time he can hustle it out on clay due to his natural physical abilities

a joy to watch
Agree that assessment. Dude is remarkable.

Carlos just keeps proving he's the best non hard court player in the world. The question is whether or not the pressure of three-peating at Wimby will get to him.

This is a little misleading, implying he has been untouchable, but Munar nearly bounced him a few days ago. If the guy (Munar) had any other flag next to his name, he probably would have won.

Just watching the match on replay and Carlos is in fine form, what a masterful couple of months for him, Slam, 2 Masters, this 500, 17 or is it 18? in a row. Carlos is peaking going into Wimbledon
He has always been streaky. He will have a portion of the season where he looks great, and then suddenly look strangely vulnerable. Was like this last year too, aside from the Olympics.

And let's be honest, he was fortunate that Sinner couldn't convert any of those match points, otherwise the story would be very different right now. The worm will turn...

He is useless. All one handers who cannot hit a backhand to save their lives are useless.
He does have the shot in his locker though so dont understand why he doesn't use it. Ive never understood why so many players are comfortable hitting over the ball on a forehand but not a backhand. Even the great Federer used to run around the backhand to hit a forehand.

It's particularly jarring to me because my one handed topspin backhand feels so smooth, natural and easy to hit - much more so than my forehand!

To Fed's credit he only started doing it later in his career when his backhand went down a little. He would rip it many a time during his younger days.
