Go, Musetti!Inspired Moose takes first set. Griekspoor too many UF
He is in magic mode right now, volleys, slices, drop shots, big serves, passing shots, the whole enchiladaGo, Musetti!
No, he's gonna throw it away. I'm certain.Musetti 6-3 6-7 7-6; book it.
Too playful and artistic at important moments. More discipline needed wrt shot selectionMusetti. The heart of a rabbit.
Yeah I actually liked the kid. Then I watched one of his matches. Guy is basically screaming like he's being attacked when he strikes the ball. There is no call for that. A little grunt, maybe sure, but a full scream? Stop dude. Just stop.Prizmic be like: hey you know that obnoxious raspy grunt FAA does that everyone hates? Think imma imitate that but even worse.
We'll have to see over a bit of time.Musetti is a younger Gasquet. Nothing beyond that.
I think it's because of the balls. Is it just me, or is the court in Rotterdam much slower than it was about five years ago?
I like Sebi too, bit Demon's a human backboard and frustrates Sebi by getting everything back.Rotterdam is an awesome tournament. Usually when De Minaur is playing I refuse to watch but he’s playing the languid Korda and that pleases me. Fun match so far. Korda has the type of groundstrokes that only come around so often.
He’s just so unathletic. He has negative explosiveness. Hopeless if you can get him on the move even somewhat. Gives the break rather cheaply and that’ll do it. Sigh.I like Sebi too, bit Demon's a human backboard and frustrates Sebi by getting everything back.
But don't you find his game agonizingly boring? He seems like a nice enough guy, but the charisma of a house fly.Has too be said, de Minaur keeps improving step by step, year by year. Love his working ethic
His game is getting better and better, now able to punish sloppy playing opponents. His strokes are not up for beauty contest for sure. But beautiful strokes alone do not win matches. But don't you find his game agonizingly boring? He seems like a nice enough guy, but the charisma of a house fly.
Case in point today vs KordaHis game is getting better and better, now able to punish sloppy playing opponents. His strokes are not up for beauty contest for sure. But beautiful strokes alone do not win matches.
Korda has pretty bad footwork and the same heart of a rabbit like Musetti.I like Sebi too, bit Demon's a human backboard and frustrates Sebi by getting everything back.
Oh, I don't know. I prefer his demeanor and attitude to that of a certain brat that shall not be named. What's wrong with being a nice guy, especially if you can do that and win?But don't you find his game agonizingly boring? He seems like a nice enough guy, but the charisma of a house fly.
I fully that agree AdM's game is no more boring than Djok's or Murray's.Oh, I don't know. I prefer his demeanor and attitude to that of a certain brat that shall not be named. What's wrong with being a nice guy, especially if you can do that and win?
Also, his game can be interesting. It's certainly not any more boring than Djokovic and Murray's games, and I enjoy watching them. He has great footwork, has developed more putaway power, and actually makes more passing shots than most of the tour.
What a superb comment. Spot on.Incredible Musetti, heaven and hell.
Looool! I'll remember this comment whenever I watch Alex play from now on.But don't you find his game agonizingly boring? He seems like a nice enough guy, but the charisma of a house fly.
Also, the effort he makes is admirable. Whilst I am not a fan of his game, I respect his competitive spirit. Interesting contrast with Seb, and his seemingly 'devil may care' attitude. His game is getting better and better, now able to punish sloppy playing opponents. His strokes are not up for beauty contest for sure. But beautiful strokes alone do not win matches.
Good matches today. I wasn't able to catch much of the action live as I was working. Surprised to see Sasha Bublik sweep aside Borna Coric after their last encounter. I think Bublik really likes playing here. His serve is really flowing. I expect he'll lose next round.
De Minuar and Korda. I have to ask, has Alex always played close to the baseline? Maybe it's my bad memory but I always remember him scrambling deep behind the baseline? I noticed today he was playing eight on top of the baseline taking balls on the rise over and over, attacking anything short. I only noticed because it's something I've changed in my own game. He was taking a lot of time away from Korda. It showed it korda's frustration and eventual capitulation.
Hurkacz and lehecka had a heck of an outing. Lehecka takes another bad loss early in a season, double faulting on a match point in the 3rd set tiebreak. Both of these guys have so much talent.
But I was rooting for Struff if only for his S&V and his coach shouting from the box
