Sinner-monfils was a cracker. Amazing power hitting. Sinner though is another level right now but mofils played really well.

Frankly I'm more concerned about Sinner's nagging elbow pain. If he's feeling fine, there's no way he doesn't get into at least a couple of Milos' service games in each set.

Ruu is the superior player - but his issue has always been mental fortitude down the stretch. Can he get it done in a big match (for him, it certainly is) in a "hostile" environment? Not so sure...

He is certainly keeping up the momentum gained. He'll never be a favourite of mine, but I respect his efforts.
Pleased to see Grigor through. I'm impressed with his demeanour and willingness to trade blows when needed, as well as displaying his beautiful game when he can. I'd like him to win the title but alas, it is unlikely.

De Minaur just lifted himself into the #9 spot in the live rankings with his win. Alex looking in better form than Grigor right now, so I feel he is the more likely winner in their SF. However, Dimitrov may find his best in the next round

Sure did, on his way to world n. 3 - a ranking Sinner can claim in a few days if he wins the event (and will claim in any case within a couple of weeks, given Med's withdrawal from Dubai).
Those were Milos' Piatti days, and long before his multi-year cheeseburger hiatus.
