Those wins came a year ago (at Wimbledon Dimitrov even admitted Murray was playing like crap). And at Acupulco, Murray was just coming back from surgery and Dimitrov was in beast mode.

Different story now that both are at their relative best. Murray in 4 at the most..
 
Pfft yeah sure Dimi. He's ecstatic with his 5-set 3rd round victory over the #67 player. Now he can get his butt handed to him in the next round.

he abandoned the net and retreated too far behind the baseline imo. In the early part of the match, he went there more often than Dimi, yet Dimi ended up with more than double the amount of net trips.

Anyhow - great match, congrats to both players. And well done by Dimi for winning a match like that. Pretty clutch play vs. a resurgent Baggy

A win's a win. Rafa was also ecstatic to have won a tough 5-setter vs. an even less heralded player. And Baghdatis at AO has never been an easy match-up for anyone

To be fair, Dimitrov does get a lot of undeserved flak from many of posters, simply because he isn't yet a multi-slam champion.

No need for the 's**k it up, haters' response post match. It comes off a bit annoying and in your face to, I imagine, the rest of us, who were cheering for Baggy, but not rooting against Dimi.

True, probably because of all the Baby Fed hype and him being almost 24 without a GS or a GS-final. Still time to deliver on the talent though.

No man, I like Dimitrov, but I was just pulling for Baggy.

Even so, I said that Dimi is a future grand slam champion, which I believe to be true. Furthermore, have you ever heard of satire?

Dimitrov didn't look so impressive for the majority of this match, definitely needs to up his level if he wants to beat the Muzz in the next round.
 
To be fair, Dimitrov brought on a lot of this hate himself with all those border line arrogant interviews/articles, a bit too early on in his career.

Not bitter at all - I don't mind Dimitrov.

I just don't think he deserves all the hype he's getting. Yes, he beat Murray at Wimbledon and has broken into the top 10 - but he isn't a Grand Slam winner yet. In due time.

On the contrary, you hate Murray with such a passion you actually root against him in these threads and probably get pleasure in seeming him do poorly.
 
Wow watching federer right after dimitrov... Just how much cleaner and deeper he hits the ball. Oh well... Will still be rooting for Dimi against Muzzington but I predict murray in 4 max.
