guys I was live at the stadium when Rafa was serving for the match 30-0 up that ace I thought I heard the machine beep for a let, I was thinking that and thought in that split second it’s a let first service I went back to watch the full match live and I still hear that beep like it was a let and not called not that it makes a difference. But just to see if anyone else here’s this beep as well it’s at 5:10 I try to zoom in to see but it’s way to hard to see a slight clip of the net..

So I’m not delusional, and that is the beep they use for the net. Was that a blip by the umpire. Fatigued by the match

I'm afraid that Rafa won't win the ATP finals unless it is moved to the January.

I have a crazy thought to have Rafa winning the Paris Olympic 2024 and that would make it Double Golden GS. But Novak might achieve a Triple Career GS first.

It is, but Nadal beat Tsitsipas at 2019 ATP Finals, and again at 2020 ATP Finals.
Also Nadal beat Medvedev at 2019 ATP Finals, and almost beat Medvedev in straight sets at 2020 ATP Finals.
So he's very capable of winning it.
Pretty close in 2010, beat Djokovic, Berdych and Roddick in RR, beat Murray in the SF, and lost to Federer in 3 sets in the Final.

Yes I think his chances are excellent of doing that, and I think he will.
But if he's injured and doesn't even play it, that's fine too, I only care about winning the slam race.

I think that Nadal would not like to miss a couple of editions of the ATP Finals in the new venue, especially since it will most likely be his last appearances in that great tournament.
