Also how many matches did Sinner play against Djokovic on HC last year? I really don't feel Sinner is doing anything that Djokovic won't fend off and do better

Zverev should have lost to Paul in the QF. The guy is a top player yes but it's clear that he doesn't have what it takes in the head to win a major or beat well playing great players when the stakes are at their highest. Hopefully this one doesn't go to 5 and Sinner gets the job done quickly.

the only points zverev is winning are from his serve once the point starts he gets passive and is missing this is over

Why does Zverev approaching net when he is not confident there?
Good question, probably because he believes the only way for him to dispatch Sinner is to be out-of-his-comfort-zone offensive, which seems to be a wrong approach. That's not his game and he's already missed too much.

...and people think this is the best guy to not win a slam lol.
In terms of total career achievements, he really is probably at the top of the list. But factually, I don’t remember ever seeing Zverev upping his game for an important slam match, only in best of 3.

A guy like Tsonga would definitely have won a Slam in some of the finals Zverev played in.

I may look like a mad man, but I honestly believe if Z stopped thinking of the occasion and what his opponent is capable of, he will not only still make this close but also make a case for winning it all.

That was a massive save of a service game by Zverev there. Sinner is constantly putting pressure on Zverev’s serve. Sinner’s level needs to drop if Zverev is to have a chance.

Yeah Zverev might end up being the perpetual bridesmaid, there's just that extra 'something' missing

Has a hell of a lot to do to turn this around

Achievements don't happen in a vacuum. I would certainly take Tsonga and some others over Zverev.

It would be fitting if the 90s wave stay on two slams. They deserve the ignominy as a testament to how they never stepped up.
