Much as I’d like to believe that, Carlos will never be capable of “obliterating” a Djokovic returning this well. His overall game is uneven but he’s lasering returns onto the baseline at will. That is not good for me as a Sinner/Alcaraz hopeful.

There is such a gap in skill level. It almost seems the world #1 is playing vs a barely top 50 player.
Novak has put a lot of distance between him and the field. Almost seems that with age, he is getting better.

Alcaraz is really the only one who could give Novak a challenge. But at this surface, I cannot see alcaraz coming close to winning 3 sets off Novak.

That's how Novak would deal with those 90s power players that relied on one and done returns.
