Babolat 3502 tension accuracy

Hello,

I bought a Babolat 3502 half a year ago. As I checked the accuracy of the pulling tension with a digital scale I recognized that the measured tension fluctuates around the set tension.

I also made a short video of the scale that I linked afterwards

While I set the tension to 24kg the tension fluctuates around 23,96 and 24,39 kg. Is that a good accuracy for a machine that age or could this be improved with calibration or other maintenance procedures?

I was just curious since I watched a video of a Wilson Baiardo and a Gamma 5800 getting calibrated with a wise digital scale and there was nearly no wage fluctuation while the motor was pulling tension.

I would really appreciate your opinion regarding this case - especially from the guys who got experience with the older Babolat machines.

Btw. if anyone of you has a manual of the Babolat 3502 it would be really nice If he could send it to me via mail or direct message.

Thanks guys!

I have a 3001 and a star 3 and all I can say is that range is consistent with them and I think is pretty dam good considering the constant pull nature of the machine and string stretch Also I guess there will be the accuracy of your digital scale but all in all im happy with mine.

Looks good, and for these type of Babolat machines, it's suggested to use a spring calibrator rather than a digital one. It's a constant pull machine, so it will constantly make small corrections.

Thanks for your opinion guys!
Now I‘m less concerned about the accuracy of the pulling unit.

@jeroenn can you recommend a good spring calibrator? Would you recommend buy one from Gamma or is a cheaper one sufficient?
