That's not bad! Those are great sticks even though I play with heavier than heck KPS88 and Prestige Classics

Babolat should retro these as "the racquet that started it all" since Rafa won his first RG with it.

I know he started with the Pure Drive, but his real success came with the APD.

Agree Seth! That would be awesome. The same racquet that has just won its 15th slam.

That would be awesome. The original apd was my favorite racquet, unfortunately let mine go in 2008. I need to search **** more frequently.

I friggin love this racquet. I want the oAPD, nice find and congrats.

I have the 2013 APD. Played the first time tonight where I added lead in the same places as Nadal (handle and 12 o' clock). ****ing MIND BLOWING results!

I'm thinking of going back to the 2013. How much lead did you add and where?

Picked up an 9/10 oAPD Plus for a solid Benjamin. I think I would like the standard length more but the one I bought was the right price and quality. Would it be a huge faux pas to cut it down to 27 inches?

I play the APDO extended length (27.5). It’s a great frame and 2 points more headlight than the standard length. Give it a try before you hack away. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I beg to differ mate. How'do you explain the play technology that exists in his rackets then?

The Play gyro, processor, battery, etc. are built into the butt cap...so its just abutt cap. Shouldnt be hard to put that in his racquets..
