Babolat Play VS RockSmith Guitar

I think we all know the new thing is connected devices. The FitBit will tell you all of your steps, stairs, miles and calories you burn. There are tredmills that can allow you to pretend you are running in certain country's with incline and so forth. Rocksmith is a video Guitar teaching tool/game that allows you to plug your guitar into a video console and learn new chords and new songs to help you get better. Now we have the Babolat Play racket which gives you a lot of good information on your session.

Someone asked me if the Babolat Play racket can help you to get better and right now I would say no but I could see maybe it could with some updates to the firmware and some better software. The RockSmith game gives you hints and tips on how to improve your guitar playing and gives you goals to reach by get xyz % through a song or playing a certain chord. Babolat Play ttys this with the "Skills" section but really lacks the interaction that makes me want to go out and practice a certain shot or style because the Babolat Play application determined I needed to practice on it. It would be great if the "Play" racket had the same concept like RockSmith and would allow someone who never picked up a racket before to have the instruction to learn how to grip the racket, how to swing "High2Low" and the racket could give feedback on how well that task was completed by a %.

I know the racket is new and they will be making improvements but anyone who plays guitar like myself would be very excited to see Babolat do the same for the "Play" racket and teaching how to get better at tennis as RockSmith did for the electric guitar and getting better at playing.
