Babolat Pure Aero 2019 with lead : magic stick

Rookie
I played all rackets available in the past!
But what happened last week was incredible...

I tested the racket of my teamate.... a Pure Aero 2019 300g with 2g lead tape at 3 and 2g lead tape at 9 oclock.... orignal basic grip, overgrip and dampener.

This racket was strung with RPM Blast at 50 lbs....

I have never played tennis so well and so confidently. Without much effort I had great length and power in the racket, which is normal with a Pure Aero, but what surprised me was that I suddenly had control and could hit flat winners without any problems. I played every Pure Aero, including the 2019 without lead years ago.
But this was the best racket I've ever played. I could hold my own against much better players and win points because I always had good length and when my opponents got too short, I could hit flat winners with my forehand. My friend said it was the lead. It's the secret that the Pure Aero 2019 needs 2g of lead at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Anyone had such experience?
I ordered 3 old Pure Aeros 2019 yesterday.

That’s nice. Suppose every little bit helps.
Hope the Babolat QC on the 2019 PAs aren’t too crazy for ya. lol

2019 pure aero already had one of the highest twist weights in the category, your lead placement increased it even more, so probably that stabilized both your stroke and on contact?

This magic stick thing has happened to me a few times but didnt remain. Pretty sure this is a common sort of experience for us rec players....

Hopefully this remains a magic stick for you over the next few weeks, months and years. :-D
