Alright, I'll stop saying banana. I recently demoed the Pure Aero, as I am looking for a more easy power easy spin racquet for those times near the end of a hitting session when I just want to be lazy and stay at the baseline and hit deep topspin heavy rallies. First hit with it was terrible as I couldn't get used to the 330mm balance and light weight. I then added 10g in the buttcap and 3g near the bottom of the throat. I ended up with 339g, 322mm balance, 329 SW. The weighted up Pure Aero felt exactly like what I was looking for. Easy power, easy spin, easy depth. After confirming that I can gel with the Pure Aero, I went on TW, and as I was about to place my order, I realize there is a Pure Aero Tour with almost the exact specs as the Pure Aero post-customization (335g 322.6mm, 327SW).
Hence my question: Should I get the standard Pure Aero and customize it to my specs while adding a bit more weight than I'd like to (I don't really like adding more than 6g of customization), or trust the Pure Aero Tour which I didn't actually get to try, but the spec is pretty much exactly what I ended up with unintentionally?
