The VS is my go to racquet right now...
Use full poly at 23 kg on it but some soft ones... Ice Code, Volkl V Torque Tour, TopSpin Cyber Blue all 120 gauge... Polyfribre strings would also fit as they are really soft
Tried Alu Power 120 and was GREAT on this stick as well...
Might string one of my 4 VS with a Hybrid XCell + RPM Power for the days I want more confort...

So forearm pain sometimes, but I have to confess it's more technique related as I'm not relaxed enough when I play matches...

Are you guys getting arm issues with this stick? How would you compare the power and launch angle to other racquets with 16x19 patterns? I am looking for a 16x20 pattern and this one looks good!
nope, but I've never had arm issues and have played with Babs for years with all poly (big banger, PHT, blast, etc)

I've noticed there's a lot of glass elbows on this forum

Does anyone add weight to their VS? Handle or lead in hoop?
I have 4 VS... on one of them I added a leather grip and use 125 gauge strings...(instead of the 120 I usually use) grip adds 5 gr and the bigger strings add 3-4 gr... the stick is around 10gr heavier than the other with the same 32cm balance... just did it and still have to play with it to have an opinion

Thanks. Any idea what the static weight of your normal version and leather version? What kind of racquets have you played with before the VS? I have a VS coming in mail today I'm going to test out. I'm using a 18x20 blade right now.

Leather is around 333gr while the "normal" version is 325gr. (With overgrip and anti vibration).

Previously I was playing a Yonex Regna. Loved it by was lacking a bit of easy power.

That's kind of feel about the blade. However, if this test doesn't work out I'm still happy with my blade you just have to be 100% dialed in to get the most out of it.

Anybody have a comparison between this VS and the current Yonex VCore 95? I have my 95 leaded and silicone up to 340g. Unsure of SW but it was feeling anemic stock and feels around the 325+ range now

How about a comparison between the VS and the Extreme Tour? I've gone from the Blade 18x20, the the Vcore 98 (didn't love it), to the Extreme Tour, and I'm really liking the spin. I'm curious now about the VS.

Despite sharing the 16x20 pattern, they're very different. PA VS is more powerful, higher launch angle, easier access to spin. The VC95 isn't particularly soft, but the PA VS feels way stiffer. VC95 is a bit more muted. VC95 more of a scalpel, PA VS more of a war hammer.

i have 2..
1 strung with AluPower 125 @ 52#
the other with Confidential at 48#

they both play great and no arm issues.
Hi m8, I have both stings ready(1.25 gauges) , just waiting for the frame to arrive. Which string felt better? How would you compare them? Im not sure which one to go for Have you tried to put them in hybrid? Many thanks

I have never tried it but heard only positives. I will string it with both confidential and then alu power to see how it plays, then the outlast. All 1.25 at 50

Since posting in Jan on this thread: bought a head speed mp: quite nice, then accidentally bought a head gravity tour: played very well competitively: better stability and plow than my normal spinnier go to racquets.

Now bought the pure aero vs 2020, strung it up with rpm blast 24kg/24kg: felt at home right away, soft/muted in a good way, easy swiniging (just really love the aero beams, find them underrated). Really like it, more stability than the old vs and easier swing speed and spin than my current gravity tour.

So switching to it for now, but a bit affraid that the topspin that comes back to my game will offset the great depth and stability that I had with the 18x20 gravity...

Do have a tennis elbow at the moment for the first time of my life, probably because of computerwork but got it while playing with the gravity (just saying ). Never had any issues with playing babolats, except for some stiff shoulder muscles.

I pretty much tried every mainstream racquet the last 2 years. So if i had one to purchase at this BF it would be PA VS. It takes my crown as my favourite. The reason why I didn’t make the switch from my Blade V5 was inconsistency on my one hander specially when i was getting pushed… blocking the ball could fly away. Also lack of confidence on drop shots. On the other hand you know where it shines. Probably best forehand power/consistency/swing motion fluidity/placement ever, very easy power/placement/type of serve on serves, great on volleys, slice etc. Also loved the plush feel of it…. by no means it’s not harsh and very connected for a babolat stick. At last my favourite thing on VS was counterpunching against heavy hitters/athletes. Pure joy to return deep balls on auto pilot.I am just curious if with added lead and different string setup (never tried 1.20mm for example or a round setup) I would enhance its control and add more plow where it lacks…maybe making it more HH it would give me the confidence, stability and placement i need on my 1HB.

You I hope with gen 4 of strike that feel will return and also have smaller SW. You had a great racquet like project one and you muted it…. the only thing you had to fix on PO was stiffness. It was an amazing stick with power, feel and logical SW to platform it. You went from 320-325 SW at 330-335……

I’ve tried this racket for 2,5h and I like it a lot.
My current frame is Vcore 95 2021.

The PAVS I tried is 9 point headlight.
The best shot was the 1 handed backhand. As consistent as the Vcore 95 but heavier, more power. I didn't need to change the stroke. So good!
The volleys were also really good. I will say better for me than Vcore
Serves were really good. Early to say if better than Vcore.
I struggle a bit with my forehands. Balls were a bit long, so I have to work on my stroke a bit. By the end of the session, it was better but I still don't have the same confidence as with Vcore 95.
