I use the Pure Storm GT and have a Pure Storm Ltd demo arriving anyday.
Any advice please guys on what to expect?
I string my Pure Storm GT with Xcel at 55lbs. Shall I do the same with the PS Ltd?
I'm a 5.5 player and am happy with the Pure Storm GT but am very intrigued with the PS LTD. Any help appreciated......

The LTD is more stable than the regular Storm in stock form. I find less spin due to the dense pattern, but I can really go for my shots. When I was demoing the LTD, I loved hitting flat with it. The Storm is too light for me when uncustomized, but it's great for dubs because there's plenty more spin and maneuverability compared to the LTD. The LTD was a bit headlight for me, and it felt jarring when I missed the sweetspot. As a 5.5 player, you'll likely get the most out of both frames, and you may really enjoy the LTD. If you can stay on the gas, you'll be rewarded with great control and feedback. Basically, it's a great player's frame with a flexy, controlled, headlight feel. There's even a bit of room for lead on the hoop if you find you might need a little more mass up there. The leather grip is a plus too.

This is great advice, thanks u.
Do you play with either of them?

I agree with colan5934. The LTD is a great, soft feeling racquet if you like that kind of thing. It really doesn't feel much like the GT although that is a relatively comfortable racquet as well. The LTD is heavier and definitely a bit more demanding. It shouldn't be a problem if you are a 5.5

Sorry if I'm jacking the thread, but is there any difference between the Ltd. and the Ltd. GT? How do they play compared to each other?

I do. I've been playing with different storm variations since high school. After messing around with the Tour and Tour Plus, I'm back to the standard Pure Storm with a leather grip and 6 grams at 12 under the bumper. Puts the swingweight around 335-340 and a really solid feel. Less weight than the tour with a higher swingweight. I never played with the LTD because while I demoed it three or four times, and I liked the way it felt, I simply had better results with the open patterns. I have 2 Pure Storm GTs and 2 Pure Storm Carbon Xtremes.

I am only a 3.5 player and I really like the GT LTD. I can whack the heck out of the ball with my unrefined strokes and still keep it in the court. I am sure it is too much racquet for me, but I like the way it plays for me and it allows me to have fun on the court with it. At the net, it is pretty fast and it deadens the ball a bit compared to the Pure Drive I was using, again allowing more of my volleys to stay in the court. I think that players racquets can sometimes be an advantage for "lesser" players.

Have used both for match play.

Ltd: lower power and a little more precise

Base: more power and a little more spin

With the Ltd I used VS Team/18g CoFocus

What do you mean by soft? Do you mean the racket asorbs the ball on impact etc? Thanks

The stiffness of the LTD is in the high 50's. It has a very soft, muted feel. It is by far the most comfortable racquet that Babolat offers.

This is exactly my situation. Nobody would recommend this racquet for my game, but I don't like playing with anything else because this thing is so comfortable.

Also, somebody asked about LTD vs. LTD GT. The composition, SW, static weight, balance and stiffness are all different. Haven't played with a non-GT, but I understand there are subtle differences that make folks prefer one over the other.
