Babolat Pure Storm Tour GT vs. Babolat Pure Storm LTD vs. Babolat Aero Storm GT

I currently use a Wilson KSix-One 95 16*18 and am looking for a racquet with less power, but not something significantly less. Which one of these three racquets would you all recommend? Thanks!
Babolat Pure Storm Tour GT or Pure Storm Tour (without GT)
Babolat Pure Storm LTD GT or Pure Storm LTD (without GT)
Babolat Aero Storm Tour GT

I used the K 6.1 and BLX 6.1 and tried the Pure Storm Ltd. because of the weight and lower swing weight and have been very happy with it. I should say the Wilsons were the 18x20, so I wasn't bothered by the string pattern of the PSL.

I just demoed the pst gt, ast gt, and blx 16*18. I thought the wilson was much more powerful than the babs, but would say the aero storm was closest in the power department. Of course, it seemed that hitting in the upper hoop of the ast gt would cause a totally gutless shot. I found a more uniform feel on the pst gt's stringbed, and good power on all of my shots, so I ended up ordering that one.

I'm guessing that the Aero Storm Tour GT has a minor difference in power. Does the Aero Storm Tour GT have good spin potential? I like my Wilson KSix-One 95s, but they feel like rocket launchers now that I have used them for three years.

Would you say that the Pure Storm LTD has significantly less power?

I would say it is significantly less powerful compared to the K 6.1. I'd demo it if you can. It is not what one would think of when you think of Babolat. I was a long time Wilson user, all of the 6.1's, before I went over to the "dark side". It could be age or coming back after a year off after ACL replacement, but I really like the lower swing weight of the PSL and the new GT version of it.

Well...I still want some pop whenever I hit my shots, so I guess the LTD is out of the question. Can anyone compare the Aero Storm Tour and Pure Storm Tour GT in terms of power, control, spin potential, groundies, or serve (pretty much anything) in relation to the KSix-One 95?

I used nCode six-one for 4 years and I switched to Aero Storm Tour GT.
It is more forgiving and has more power compare to 6.1 series.
Pure Storm LTD is smaller head size, very head light and no power at all. I have tried it that one as well but I didn't like it at all.
Pure storm tour is really great racket as well but slightly heavier than Aero storm tour and little less power.
To avoid/prevent injuries in long run, I switched to Aero storm tour gt.
I am young and injuries are not my issues but I see people out there on the court and I decided to switch so I can play tennis for 20-30 years injury free.
You can demo two of them and pick for yourself.
Aero storm might feel little odd to begin with but it is really a great stick.
I am loving it. I have been using it from last 30 days.

Between the Pure Storm Tour GT and the Aero Storm GT, which one has more spin potential? Do they both have good racquet head speed?

Interesting posts ^^^... I confess I know very little re the Aerostorm frames... which prompts me to ask:

1 - How does the AeroStorm Tour rank with APD, PST, N95 on:

. serve power (which hits a bigger flat or has more pop?)

. 2hbh power (which hits a heavier, booming 2hbh?)

. quality feel (which has less tinny, 'collapseable' feel and is more 'quality', rich, solid feel?)

. touch (which is better all court?)

2 - How does the Aerostorm contrast with the Aerstorm Tour... and does 1 have better slightly better touch and feel?

TIA,

R.

Thanks for the comment Ross K. I think I'm more interested in more general aspects like power, control, spin, and racquet head speed, but if anyone can comment that would be great.

I really like the low power level of the pure storm limited
Great racquet!
I gotta second this,....I love this (non GT version) too,....i love being able to 'swing away' without hitting long or out,....it feels so good to just 'lay into' that ball!!!!!!......(i just had my 2nd one arrive today via UPS...:)).

I haven used N95, Pure Storm Tour and Aero Storm Tour.
All tour series rackets (11+ oz) are heavier than non tour (10+ oz).
I don't like 10oz rackets so I haven't used it much.
1. I Aero Storm Tour GT wins hands down in Serve power/pop, Volley, Ground strokes and spin. It also have really nice spin.
It felt little odd when I started using it after N95 and PST but I got used to and now I feel much comfortable with it.

For 2HBH power, technique is more important but I feel all three rackets I have used are very close.

I like N95 with open string pattern but it was a string breaker. Aero Storm tour is more forgiving on strokes so it makes it better racket in long run for your body. I haven't felt any kind of shoulder pain or arm pain since I have started using it. I play 23-28 hours every week that includes 18+ hours in singles/drills.

2. I haven'r really used Aero Storm as it is little to light but I demoed it. It had really so much power for me to handle. I can generate my own pace so it was too much to handle for me.

Thanks for the advice Jigar. Could you rank the Aero Storm Tour, Pure Storm Tour, and N95 in terms of overall power? Thanks! BTW, were you using the GT models?

Honestly, the LTD has way less power than the others, but it ends up not really mattering because you eventually adjust to it.
And it's light enough that big swings are really not a problem.
If you come into the net often, it's pretty much amazing, too.

1. Aero Storm Tour GT
2. N95 (open string pattern 16x18 or 16x19 , I forgot)
3. Pure Storm Tour (non GT) (I felt more power on server)

The only reason i recommend using Aero Storm Tour GT is because it is more forgiving and has more power. I live in the city with higher elevation (~4500 feet). I really don't much power to begin with to keep the ball in play but I can clearly make out the difference due to higher altitude.

I would also recommend using some nice synthetic gut or mutlis in the crosses, if you are using hybrid in any racket.
I am in my 20's and I don't have any physical issues but since I have started using Aero Storm Tour GT with Mantis power synthetic in the crosses, I don't have soreness in arm, shoulder or back even after playing 4-5 hours singles for 3-4 days in a row.
I used to some soreness in the morning due to long play but now it is gone since I have started using this racket and better strings.

I can pay $50 extra on strings to feel well all year long.
I understand you are going to buy one of the racket any way then buy something that doesn't get you tired or break your body.

You can demo them and pick one right for you, but use decent comfortable strings. I use poly/gut hybrid 95% of the time.

Good luck
