Babolat Pure Strike VS

I need some help from the master racquet technicians. I like my racquet in the low 11’s all strung up, and approximately 7 points HL.

I’ve always wanted to try the Pure Strike VS but didn’t want to deal with a 11.7 stick. What would happens to the specs if I swapped out the leather Babolat grip for a syntec team or pro grip?

My 2 cents... By using a lighter grip you would slightly change the balance and swingweight of the racquet.

You could string with a thinner gauge (1.18mm or less) to compensate for that but by making your PS VS lighter, you are reducing power and stability. Note that many have found that they had to add lead tape at 10&2 or 9&3 to provide more put away power and stability even with the leather grip.
