Babolat sensor dual - advice for clamps stuck

Hi, I've recently bought a fairly old (9 years) but With low rackets (1100) babolat dual sensor machine. I feel like the base clamps don't release smoothly when I release the top as they are meant to. Any tips as to how I may rectify this? Cheers!

Jamesy: Are these the newest clamp bases? That is, do they use dual or single return spring?

Dual spring units are the original design and have since been replaced by a heavier duty single spring. Babolat redesigned clamp base because dual spring units
failed often impacting clamp release. So if you're having problems with base release, check first to see if the return spring(s) are intact.

I'm fairly sure the clamps I'm using are the original dual spring clamps. Seems like they aren't springing back as I drop the clamp, so im having to do it all manually (lift them to move the base) Unless I press down with more force where they release a little and then stick when I try to move them by the clamp. Any ideas on how to repair?!

Jamesy: Babolat (as far as I know) no longer supplies replacement springs for dual spring units. What they are doing is supplying replacement new version single spring clamps (free) for exchange of old dual spring clamps. Contact Jason at Babolat USA.

Try: 1-877-316-9435 x117 and leave return number and have Jason discuss your current options.

Good Luck,

A.Lee is correct.

If your clamps are the older version, it is very easy to see the multiple springs.
There is also a babolat video of how to remove the clamps as well.. or they will send you a dvd with the replacement.
I had the same issue with one of my clamps
