DESCRIPTION

The SFX EVO is the perfect shoe for anyone, from amateurs to advanced players, who wants absolute comfort on any surface. The larger volume in the forefoot and the comfortable design promise an unrivalled first fit experience. This is the perfect shoe if you have a "strong" and rather wide foot. In terms of design, we've retained the flexibility and support that you expect from a tennis shoe, in a unique, streamlined look for wearing when playing all your games.

BENEFITS

COMFORT

The SFX Evo is designed to offer unrivalled comfort. This tennis shoe has more room in the forefoot because it has a special 6% wider last, and a soft Ortholite insole for perfect foot support. The lightweight, breathable mesh upper of the new SFX Evo offers you the flexibility and lightness you need for all your moves on the court.

FIT

Like our SFX 3 model, the new SFX Evo is designed to provide good support at the ankle and back of the foot, while offering more room at the front of the foot for a good balance between safety and fluidity in your movements.

POLYVALENCE

The SFX Evo offers the perfect balance between comfort, looks and durability. This versatile tennis shoe can be adapted to any surface or even worn off the court.

TOE BOX SHIELD

A protective piece made from resistant synthetic material covering the inner forefoot to the toes for improved upper durability.

Has anybody with a 4E wide foot tried these yet? Would be great to verify they're wide enough before I order any.

I'm trying to decide between ordering a pair of these (Babolat SFX Evo) or a pair of Nike GP Challenge 1s. Can anyone speak to experience and comparisons between both? I've read reviews of both, but I'm curious if anyone has real experience?

I was a participant.
The SFX EVO is basically a take down model but also for the wider footed individual. The outsole and cushioning are actually pretty good and very durable. The upper is definitely budget level. The medial side drag guard is a bit of a joke for any aggressive footwork and I had early wear.
They are light and fast.
They definitely run big/are wide. I got my normal 11 and definitely needed a 10.5.

I haven't used the GPC 1 but expect those are probably "higher performing" just due to the upper. But for the price the EVO is a really solid shoe that's comfortable and durable. I noted that the EVO would be more than enough for most players.

Thank you for your quick reply! I am an aggressive mover, but I don't slide. Any lack of stability making sharp cuts that would concern you regarding ankle rolls?

No stability problems but the upper is pretty soft and flexible. It doesn't have the more premium matryx used on the jet machs. My shoes were also too big so that affected lockdown for me. But I never felt like I was going to roll my ankle.

If your footwork is dependent on feeling like you're wearing ski boots you may want the GPC1 for a more tight, strapped in feel.

I never had an issue with the flexible upper with regards to stability or rolling. I do use an extra sock and and I make sure to lace the shoe tight enough. This shoe is great - comfort, breathability, stability, outsole durability. I hope Babolat/TW will bring it back.

Just hit with mine yesterday, agree with all the above. Wish I had gone 1/2 size down is my only complaint.
