Babolat shoe sizing compared to Nike

Hi all,

I wear size 9 in all Nike shoes (Nike vapors and the cages, which I've exclusively worn for the last 8 years). I'm going to switch brands and try the Babolat Jet Mach III. From experience should I keep the same shoe size if I want the same fit as the Nike's in 9 or size 1/2 up or down? Unfortunately, I won't be able to return nor try the shoes out, which is why I want to be extra sure.

Use EU sizing. It’s the most accurate across brands

Also, I wouldnt call it it "Nike sizing"... their models all fit differently. I was an 11 in the Vapor 9/9.5/X, Zoom NXT, Cages (through 3). And a solid 10.5 in Vapor Cage and Vapor 11.

Heck I might have even been able to pull off a 10 in the Vapor Cage

Interesting. Are these models from different years or the same year? Is the EU sizing consistent?

I find that, no matter the shoe, I'm an EU 44 2/3 (which means I buy either an EU 44.5 or 45). This is the same for dress shoes I have from the 1990's as well as tennis shoes from 2023. The EU size is always correct, even thought the US size changes.

I've seen US size 11 Lotto shoes with an EU 44. And size US 11 Adidas with EU 45 1/3.

Same year. I wore the Vapor Cage 4 and the Vapor X when they were both being produced

Not sure if this then helps if Nike has changed their fit over the years but:

For both these models I wore a size 9
NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor Pro (2021 year)
NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4

According to the charts the EU sizing for Babolat and Nike are identical.

That's my experience as well.

US size 11 is 45 for both Babolat and Nike. Same for Yonex, Head, New Balance, Diadora, and Asics

US size 11 is 44.5 for K Swiss, Fila, Prince and Mizuno

US size 11 is 45.33 for Adidas and Wilson

US size 11 is 44 for Lotto.
