Babolat Star 5 or Prince 5000

I have no idea but my guess would be about the same age as you max. The serial number on the machine is 0054 if that helps. What I wonder about is how the pads wore out with so little use. <2,000 string jobs is not very much at all. I adjust my clamp bases when I first got it and have not touched them since then. I also took the clamps apart and cleaned them well and again at 1,000 string jobs. I’ve adjusted the clamps each time I did a thorough cleaning but that’s all just those 2 times. I cleaned the clamps now every 50 rackets (you will get an alert.) At one point I cleaned the clamps a lot but but I don’t any more. I’m about dues for another thorough cleaning got 51 frames to go. I replaced my tension module so the count on the machine is what I’ve strung on it and it is now at 1949. There were over 4,600 frames strung on the machine when I got it.

EDIT: I believe this machine could survive a nuclear blast. Your issue with the side supports amazes me too. I can imagine the support bending (you should know what I mean.) I wonder if the racket may have been warped. When I mount a frame I turn the side supports in so they are flush with the frame and the racket is centered between the towers. Then I turn in the 6 and 12 supports. When I release a racket I always string from top to bottom. I first loosen the 6 support, then the bottom side supports, then the 12 support as I slide the frame up, then finish loosening the top side supports.

Nope racquets (multiple) with same result. Also very rare for the support arms to be bent according to Mia (Babolat After Sales Mgr).

Plus eyeballing then I can't detect any discernable difference in height between then. As Rabbit mentioned above, "It's no biggie. The racquet will move while stringing".

Those arms are like 1/2" thick they are not going to bend very easy. The pads though are a different story. If one is worn it could cause problems. When I got my machine I put on new support pads and they are still in good condition 1950 later.

Then again, I didn't replace any pads on the Mighty Sensor. I added one missing one. Hard to tell which is old and which is new.

Neither. Tennis Machines will support your 'NEOS'. You can also upgrade the clamps to swivel using David 110's stuff. However, if you want an eCP tension head, get a WISE. It will be supported.

I have a prince neos 1000, can I upgrade with to swivel instead of glidebars ?

There's really no need to. The glide bars are really good. If you really want to, there was a chap who had a conversion kit. You might could do a search on the boards and find his contact info. It involved putting a solid piece over the existing tray.

Good luck.
