thought i would share images of what the vs gut colors look like
on the left image, mains are vs blue. new strings. i would call it "ice blue"
on the right image, mains are the vs black strings. more of a gunmetal.
crosses are yptp blue.

I’ve used the black vs before, it is almost purple in the sunlight. Not a neon purple, but like a night sky, and once you use it for a few hours it then starts going a little white after fraying. Very good string.

yes it looks darkest when fresh, then will slowly turn grey in color.
and it really does not look black

Can you comment on how the blue plays compared to natural? It's really like a ice blue to me. I was worried it could affect the playability based on the color.

I dig the blue. The blue reminds me of the TW exclusive Klip hybrid. I wish they paired that with a better poly because the gut is great for the price and I like the color. There are just too many other good $9 polys to cross it with that arent made by Kilp

I always prefer contrast in mains vs cross. The first one doesn't have big contrast.
I like the VS Ice Blue. Awesome string but the price went up recently.
