Bags with a dedicated shoe compartment?

I'm currently using the older Babolat Aero Line 6 pack bag, which I'm pretty happy with. But since there's only 2 big compartments, things get a bit tricky.
One compartment, I'm holding 4 racquets. Totally fine! The other is a jumble of clothes, balls, water, shoes, and some other tennis gear. It gets pretty messy in that one. I stuffed a couple of racquet covers in that so it works like dividers, but it's my shoes that always get in the way in that compartment. Gets everything dirty in there, attracts dirt, and it's always very "clunky" looking.

When TW did their bag review, I couldn't help but notice the Head Elite 3 Pack bag. It has like 3 compartments for racquets, clothes, and other gear, plus having a dedicated shoe compartment. Sounds great for my needs! However, material seems to be a bit flimsy when I saw the review. I had Head bags before, and they didn't really hold up for me.
And a while back, I was looking at the Adidas Barricade II 6 pack bag. It looks really durable with a hardshell similar to my Aero bag, has a full lifetime warranty on it, and has the much-needed shoe compartment on it. I'm pretty drawn to this one, because of the material, styling, and the warrantly.

So, do you guys have any recommendations? These are the only 2 bags that I've seen with shoe compartments, and I'm wondering if there's more bags that have this feature.. And I don't really want a giant 12 pack bag because I hate to lug such a giant thing around everywhere (currently playing high school tennis), so I'd love to have something as compact as possible.

There's a shoe compartment on my adidas Barricade bag, and there was one on my old Boris Becker Mega. I figured almost all of them did.

Flashfire, I am with you man. I manage to stuff everything into my Dunlop, but it has no shoe compartment, or thermos compartment. Both would be really awesome to have.

How do you like Barricade bag? The construction looks really sturdy and it can hold its shape, which makes it super attractive to me.

I'm pretty sure I have this one: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Volkl_Tour_Series_Bags_BlackYellow/descpageBGVOLKL-VTSB9.html

I like it - way too much bag for me, but at the time it was on sale and cheaper than smaller bags. It has a section for racquets, a section for all other crap, a ventilated section for shoes, an insulated spot for a water bottle, and a little pouch outside for keys, cell phone, etc.

How's the material on that? I know Volkl has great quality, but it looks like the bag can totally collapse if it's empty. It looks really ventilated though!
Plus, it's too big... =/

Exactly! I mean, yea everything fits. And that's totally fine. But it would be nice to have my stuff a bit more organized, so I don't need to throw and fumble around in my bag to get a freakin water bottle. =/

I'm giving up my aero 6 pack for the same reason, selling it to a friend of mine and gonna get then Volkl 9 pack.

I like that it has 3 large compartments and the shoe compartment!

A few people I know swear by volkl quality and from their 7 year old bags I'll have to agree.

The Head Radical Tennis Bag (blue) is pretty good eventhough it's smaller than the Elite it's also $30 cheaper lol

It feels pretty sturdy, not too thin. Not sure about the collapsing if empty because even though it is too big, I manage to find enough crap to fill it: 3 racquets on the racquet side; at least one water bottle in the insulated compartment; and I have a couple cans of new balls, sweat bands, towel, tournagrip, tape, moleskin, practice balls, gloves and ear muffs (for winter) in the main compartment.

It is big though! I'm not unhappy I got it and would buy it again if I were to go back with hindsight.

It's good. I've probably had it a year, and no issues with wear. It lacks the thermal drink compartment that the Becker Mega had, but it was inexpensive and is holding up well, which I couldn't say for the becker.

My Volkl bag has a shoe compartment, works great for for sandles and shoes, keeps the clay crud out of my main bag, shoulder straps. Its big but i'd definitely buy it again.

you might want to check out the new bag from Donnay, I just saw it on TW site last night. Although it doesn't have video yet, but from the picture there is a shoe compartment. I'm currently searching for a new bag. too:)

So you know exactly where I'm coming from!
The thing why I don't want the Volkl is because... it's too big.... Like I said, I'm going to be lugging this place everywhere, whether it's at school or at the club. I can hardly stand carrying my 6 pack around school, and can't imagine a 9 pack. But yes, people swear on their lives on how great Volkl quality is (it's a German company! Great stuff comes from Germany!).

Oh yea! That thing is sexy! Black and a touch of gold!
I'm really looking into that, but the exterior material looks a bit too soft (mesh?). Afraid that it would rip easily.

I'm REALLY looking into this right now. Even posted about this in the Wanted section.
How's the accessory compartment though? Does it have little dividers, or is it just a single pocket?

true, i just saw some close up pictures on page 24 in the "New Donnay X-Series" thread. It does looks pretty soft, but I'm looking forward to see the video. How about prince bags, are they any good? I was thinking about getting an exo3 tour with one of the six pack bags.

Which one are you looking at? I'm not sure if the one I have is still available.

Okay, mine doesn't have quite the same accessory compartment. Also, the backpack straps on mine aren't curved like that, but look to be of similar quality. Based on what I see, I recommend it.

I second that I have a Volkl bag (Tour Mega 9 pack) bought it here on sale and I can't be happier. The bag fits everything I could ever need. Has dedicated Compartment for shoes, racquets, clothes, wallet/Phone, and Insulated drink compartment. Love the bag and after looking around I have not found many that are organized as nicely with the layout and practicality.

I'm looking for a six pack bag with thermo protection, a shoe compartment, and also a single "quick grab" handle on the top. The Dunlop 4D six pack bag has thermo and a quick grab handle, but it doesn't appear to have a shoe compartment.

Any suggestions?

You should check out what I'm looking at right now. The Adidas Barricade Tour II.

Reviving this thread. Anyone using a current bag with a shoe compartment?

Thanks
Yeah, I have a prince carbon. Seems a vented shoe pocket, and organization mesh should be standard these days. I would even go so far as have some mesh pockets sewn in if they werent there.
