Bahrami is using an MXG . . . . .

Is that irony? He's the clown of the tennis court and so uses the biggest joke to hit tennis in decades.
Maybe it's a prop. He'll switch back to the Extreme after a game or two.

I hit with the MGX 5, it played like other 105's like the Prince Premier. The color of the frame's throat is not to my liking, but should be fine for fun doubles with lengeds

Mansour Bahrami is a magician. He casts magic with any wand...

Srsly though, some of the stuff he pulls off amazes me at that age

The Triad Five and XP5 are outstanding racquets. Have you tried them? So soft and arm-friendly, and with decent pop. Some of the best racquets I've ever played with (and I have played with A LOT). And no, I'm not an 80 year old grandma.

To all of you that roast the MXG frames; Have you tried them at all or just "hate" them by the look of them? I have tried MXG 1, 3 and 5 and they are all very good frames. Specially the MXG3. Very good platform to customize as well.

I‘ve tried the MXG 1 and it‘s not worse than many other new racquets. But it doesn‘t work for me if I compare it to racquets like the old MiA Heads.

Tried one, can't remember which. Not the best IMHO. If you like it, fair enough, good for you.

79 y.o grandma? Just kidding. The Pure Drives were designed to be granny rackets, so it doesn't matter what the reputation of the racket is, it matters who is using it and how it is being used.

MXG 5 felt like a Prince 105 power level frame.
As one of the few on his board who use a frame in that category, I see why the frame is not held in high regard, as players were hoping for a modern LM Instinct type frame.

He's not a clown - he is seriously skilled. And the racquet isn't a joke if someone like that can use it.

he is very skilled and very high entertain value.
saw him a few times live at Royal Albert Hall and had good experience - loved his showmanship.
his story about wanting to be a professional tennis player from/for his home country was quite cool too.
