A racquet unstrung weight is 11 ounce, 27.25 length, and unstrung balance is 9 points headlight. If you strung the racquet with 1/2 ounce (0.5 ounce), the static weight will become 11.5 ounce. What will be the STRUNG BALANCE of this 11.5 static weight of this racquet?

slide the racquet back and forth on the pencil to find the location at which the racquet balances without the head or the handle touching the table ---- you have found the balance point.

With the racquet at the balance point measure the distance from the bottom of the butt cap to the center of the pencil and subtract half the length of the frame. the difference between the two is the balance.

so if you have a 27 in frame and the balance point is at 14 in from the handle then

14" - 13.5" = .5" ====> .5" head heavy or 4 points head heavy (1" = 8pts or 1/8"=.125" = 1 point)

if the balance point was 13" --- 13" - 13.5" = -.5" = .5" head light = 4 points head light.
