Ball machines - Lobster E3 or TT Player+

I have an elite 3 and haven't even gotten to the triple oscillation yet. Just simple horizontal on about a 3-4 second feed rate wears me out. I am happy with the machine, but I imagine that either of them would work out well. They seem fairly close in features, and the most important thing is to be able to practice in a consistent way to hone the muscle memory. My favorite thing so far is the two line function. I just played around with the triple oscillation once or twice. I was not wowed by it. I will try again, but maybe it is of little use. Does anybody really value the player or triple oscillation on these machines?

The Elite 3 triple oscillation is slow in between shots (8 seconds per ball) while the Player mode is adjustable from 1 1/2 seconds to 10 seconds per ball. For me thats way too long of a wait in between shots for the lobster.
The Plus Player you can adust the ball feed with a simple touch of a button and thats it.

I'll try out the triple oscillation next trip out. Hopefully in the next week. The horizontal oscillation can be set quite fast on the feed rate. I don't know why the triple should be any different. Seems like it's just adding in a slight vertical change. Can it only do vertical and horizontal changes sequentially instead of at the same time or what?
Whichever ball machine I purchase, I feel that the horizontal oscillation along with 2 line function will be the main setting I will use, but there will be times where I would like a random ball placements, horizontal, vertical and anything in between. Keno, I'm looking forward to your results with the triple oscillation. In addition, can you confirm what Bolivian10s said about the 8 sec delay between shots on triple oscillation mode, or can it be adjusted.
I tested out the triple oscillation yesterday. It was just as fast as the horizontal. The only thing that is tricky about it is to get the height adjustment high enough so that the short balls don't hit the net, but not so high that the long balls go out. It was a little more tricky yesterday since it was quite windy. I think for me I'll stick with two-line and horizontal only for a little while, because the triple oscillation was able to wear me out pretty quick. I couldn't make it through a whole basket of balls without it throwing some by me. It was quite a work out.

Nope. There pretty much sent out at the speed I had dialed in. I had mine set at around 4 seconds. There is a delay of roughly 8 seconds or so on the two line drill, and I believe that is because the machine waits until it has moved into the right position before feeding the ball through.
The random oscillation seems to just move from side to side and throw a ball at whatever interval you have set. The vertical oscillation seemed to work the same way the balls would be low then a little higher then a little higher then a bit lower a bit lower, and then back the other direction. Seemed to do the job. It's more than I can handle at a fast feed rate.

I can confirm that the vertical (or triple) oscillation works in a continuous way while feeding at any rate you set- I found with a basket of fairly uniformly worn balls it was useful and unbelievably challenging-
I will post a review of my second lobster elite unit shortly- my first was defective and lobster took care of the issue very well , promptly shipping me a new unit that has been flawless in heavy use over the last month. They have also made an important recent (units built in august or later) update on their transport wheels to address the problems reported earlier. the lobster is a piece of cake to take from the car to the court with its wheels, I typically carry the balls and racquets in the basket so its all in one trip! This was the deal maker for me it is so easy to set up with just one trip from the car. If you unfurl the wire antenna like Kevo has recommended the remote works every time-

yes, they confirmed the changes when I decided to get a replacement rather than return the unit- it performs very well and is a easier logistical proposition than any of the other units just because you can move it comfortably with the basket up and is a bit lighter and smaller i think-
