Not that he has anything to be upset about. Nobody gets more from themselves or their game and he has. And, compared to 99% of players, he's had an exquisite career.

I don't think so. Ferrer would have won a couple of clay-court masters titles without Nadal, but Ferrer's best record at the French Open is two quarter finals. He's even managed to get to the semi finals at the Australian Open and the US Open before.

Well, he's beaten him 4 times in clay finals. That isn't to say Ferru would have won had Rafa not been there. He also defeated him in semis, but I think some of those time he went on to play Fed in the final, and I don't think Ferrer would have been able to beat Federer.
