Barricade 2018

How narrow do they run? I have been using Asics Speed Solutions and order half size up due to the narrow fit. In Speeds I wear an 11.5, but in Resolutions I wear an 11, as they are a tad wider, at least in the toe box. They say these run long so I may be ok in an 11.

I went down half a size and it fits fine for me length wise. It is wider in forefoot and toebox for sure compared to 2017 version but it is still a narrow shoe in general. I have medium-wide feet and it took me a while to get used to the fit. I find that loosening up laces and pulling back tongue of the shoe and then tightening laces back up helps greatly.

Anyone know when the new Barricades will be out? I loved them up until this year - the 2018s are trash. The break-in is terrible. Every version before this, I could put on and play whereas the 2018s take 4-6 plays to feel normal. Oh, and to anyone listening at Adidas, thanks for changing the sizing after being very consistent on the 5 prior years - we love moving targets.

Mid december, I think. However, they're not called "Barricade" anymore; the new model is the SoleCourt Boost.

Thanks for the help, I ended up picking up a pair and they fit pretty well. I’ve only worn them a times so time will tell. I have about four hours in them so they should start breaking in here pretty soon. Has the plastic on each side of the shoe loosen up a little bit on yours or is it still a little snug on the side your foot? I can wear these for the next 30 days and still take them back so I’m waiting to see if that loosens up or not.

I tried them on in the store, length felt normal but the arch dug into my flat feet so it was a no from me.

15, 16, 17 all fit great.

It definitely has loosened up a bit. My foot isn't as snug as it felt in the first few hours. If you have the option of returning, I would suggest you wear them inside the house for a few days for breaking them in and seeing if they work for you. I really like mine and actually like the fact that they aren't torpedo shaped like last few gens of Barricade and are more geared for slightly wider footed. My feet never liked old ones so for me this shape and fit change is pretty welcome.

They feel good except for the plastic on the sides which I figured would loosen up. It's been years since I have worn Barricades, once this loosen they should be good to go.
