Sure, he's presently innocent as far as the courts are concerned, and the public should also regard him as innocent until it's proven otherwise, but it's also true that "innocent and accused" is different from "innocent and unaccused" in ways that should have a bearing on how we talk about somebody.

That's true though. Nobody wants to be accused of something. It still remains as a black mark and he has to bear it whether or not he committed the act.

This does not mean her allegations are true of course, but it certainly appears to be a challenge to pursue abuse allegations against one's husband (especially if he is famous) in a patriarchal society.

Please learn to read, this is frankly embarrassing from you. I said I believe the case is ongoing, if you have actual evidence that a decision has been given, prove it. If you don't, apologize for stalking me whenever this topic is brought up and maybe wait til a verdict is given.

I feel bad for Basilashvili. It seems his breathing problem which started during AO hasn't healed yet and he had to retire in his match vs Grigor in Monte Carlo, citing breathing difficulties.
