Basilashvili Sponsorless?

I was watching the finals highlight and I believe I did not see him wearing distinguishable gear... Am I just wrong or is he no longer sponsored?

He was supposed to be head to toe Dunlop but the racquet situation never really clicked so back to Head with the racquet and no apparel/shoe deal.

I don't think sponsors want to be associated with him due to the alleged behavior in his personal life.

When he held up the championship trophy, Basilashvili did not even smile. He seems to be full of anger and resentment.

He has the same Nike Vapors I have used since last year. Then again, Fedr was wearing Nike shoes without actually being under contract for more than a year.

Zverev still has all,his sponsors! Basilashvili should not be singled out and cancelled!

It's a little different in the case with Basilashvili.

He assaulted his wife in front of a minor.

Meaning that there was an actual witness as to what had happened.

He should lose all of his sponsorship opportunities.

Last time I checked he was in jail but thanks for your question.

He's actually back out on the streets again. Served about 9 years for armed robbery, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, etc.

And of course in the mid 90s he was found "Not Guilty" of having committed first degree murder.

Most people would be in jail for life, having done what he's done.

But O.J. is out having only served a relatively light 8-9 years.

It bothers me when celebrities receive special treatment from the court system.

Basilashvili is just a lesser known example of this.

It would be bad for business, if one of the top players in the world were to be convicted of domestic violence.

What reason would Basilashvili's wife have for claiming that he had attacked her?

It's only going to make things more difficult for her.

Not to mention their child.

Edit: I removed my comments regarding Zverev, because it's still unclear as to what happened in his case.

They will still receive special treatment from the press, because it's bad for business if they come out with a suit for domestic violence.

What reason would Basilashvili's wife have for coming forward to say that he had attacked her?

It's only going to make things harder on her. Not to mention their child.

He obviously did it.

And as a tennis community, we should not be supporting people like Basilashvili and Zverev.
It bothers you "when celebrities receive special treatment from the court system." yet Basilashvili has not been found guilty. Odd....
