Verdasco breaks back
That backhand was asolutely mammoth.
Berlocq spinning the ball so hard, mama mia, this guy would have loved to play in the 90's...
Not just the spin, but the sheer pace of the ball. It's absolutely ridiculous how hard he hits and especially on that backhand. See that return in Verdasco's first service game?
yes i'm watching since the beginning. Berlocq is a very strong guy, this surface really match his game
verdasco breaks back again
Exciting match so far! Not much in errors but quite a lot of winners!
5/4 Berlocq, Verdasco to serve, good fight!
It's cold as hell here and windy too. Wind is coming from where Berlocq will receive, which is from the sea.
3 SP saved by Verdasco
Berlocq just blocking the ball back. Very boring.
Romeo, there is a very strong headwind from where he was standing.
OMG this set point !!!!
Some great rallies in the business end of the first set.
Beer is shockingly expensive and Verdasco is being outplayed.
Carlos Berlocq en route to his first title!
hahaha funny this second set, poor verdasco
I missed half of the second set due to smoking and an overpriced beer...
So is Verdasco playing badly because he can afford the alcohol, or are the two unrelated?
I did hear that he was partying hard last Friday.
very happy for Berlocq and his first ATP title after a tennis life on the challengers. Great week for him. Does he get the Mercedes ?
Hope he wins the doubles too.
That is one odd looking trophy
^ a local Swedish artist designed it.
Courtside for doubles!
It's a flying pig..."if only pigs could fly"
What a tourney for Berlocq. Where in the hell did that come from??
"Down the line", have you seen this backhand winner "down the line" from Berlocq in the first game of the match?
Unfortunately I didn't. I imagine what you're trying to say is Berlocq was in freakish form this week, hence his run all the way to the title?
he only lost 1 set, the final was interesting to watch in the first set.
the second was funny, Verdasco struggled so hard, he just kinda gave up!
2nd set replay, right now here http://lsh.****************/static/popups/159332968338570.html
I took some pictures. Not many, but some. The focus is a bit wonky (hoping Nokia brings out that Pro Camera app soon enough) at times but I hope these'll do.
Right after Carlos had won it (I wasn't allowed back to my seat at that moment, I missed the last change of ends and had to stand there for the remainder of the match)
The scenery. OH GOD THE SCENERY!
And as a finale, a pic from the doubles final.
For those who didn't see the first SET POINT here it is
Great pics, thanks
