too bad Palo Alto is quite a drive to the San Pablo courts in Berkeley/Oakland area.

Strange thing happened yesterday. I was buying two textbooks for my son from Amazon (each was $50 cheaper than at the University bookstore), and after selecting the first book, I found two items in my shopping cart. I wondered how that could be. It turned out one of them was the T shirt with my name on it which was mentioned in a previous post here. Somehow, it had been magically placed in my shopping cart even though I had never selected it. If I had not been careful, I would have ordered it!

This is the one:

At that price for a t-shirt, the 5-star rating and reviews better be on target.

What size did the internets select for you?

I think it's sad that suresh is enduring this medical emergency and most likely will not be the same player at this age and body weight. Luckily those who were fortunate and got to play doubles and sample his Indian gootch pellets can tell stories of his triumphs to their children and their's.

My money is on suresh. I think he will win in the end and prove all the arm chair NTRP judges wrong.

Are LeeD's nipples visible or am I just dreaming?

I want to buy one, but I am nervous about the kind of reactions I will get. What if someone thinks that I am married to a guy called Suresh?

Suresh has taken it upon himself to constantly snipe at me, taking Arch3's and Dave's places.
You cannot deny that your ridiculous antics have perfectly positioned you as the snipe in the Great TT Snipe Hunt. How appropriate with the snipe being a mythical creature and you being a mythical 4.0 who went serve for serve with Kevin Curren. Fantasyland is fun. Rage on LeeDelerious.

Those percentages in #1182 are probably right. Lots of slice on the whole because so many balls went to my BH and I didn't feel comfortable with my footwork on the court so I went home to momma, probably a little too much. I actually was curious about my FH so I went back and counted (close enough for government work): 28 flat/(very) slight topspin, 10 slice, 1 drop shot. That's actually a little slice heavier than normal for me on the FH side. A totally normal match for me on hard courts with a typical peer is probably 80/20 flat/slice on the FH and maybe 15/85 flat/slice on the BH. I really only pull out the flat BH if someone's at the net or if it's just right in my fairly narrow strike zone for that shot. Otherwise, it's hack away!
I watched that match and really enjoyed it, the two different styles of play and great movement by both guys was a pleasure to watch.

The mesh needs to be there for life. On a more sober note, a doctor in the family told me on Sunday that from now on, your body is not the one that belonged to you. It is a loan from modern science and treat it with respect as such.

Who's body belongs to them?
I've broken my collarbones 4 separate times.
More than 7 broken ribs.
3 separates of the left shoulder, one dislocate of the right, which is currently bothering me.
2 compound fractures of the tib/fib, one of the fib alone, all needing surgery, pins, wires, and screws.
Both pinkies broken and pinned, thru surgery.
Both ring fingers broken, only the left has a pin.
And, I'm blessed with flat feet, bad eyesight, short arms, and a decided lack of strength.

That's what is interesting!
Fat Dave rented a room at my house when I was 29-35 years old, making him 17-23.
Those years were 6 after my worst leg/hand break, so I was completely healed, surfing big waves, playing good tennis, racing motocross, and night taxi driving in San Francisco.
By his second year at the house, I was somehow known as a tough guy, possibly thru my involvement as "enforcer" at OceanBeach, or maybe some of my cab driver escapades, which included some jail time for both assault and A with battery, on the 6th floor of the Hall Of Justice in SF, a shooting early in my cab career with Veteran's Cab, and a penchant to stick my nose into every bar brawl at the old Beach Chalet or other surfer bars. Beach Chalet alone accounted for well over 40 fights in 5 years.
I"m not real tough, but pretty slippery and quick, and had lots of friends since junior high who were always ready and willing to watch my back. Plus, Bruce Lee was an item in the early '70's.

Don't worry, they can rebuild you. They have the technology. They can make you better than you were before. Better. Stronger. Faster.

How? I didn't. We always wrestled to draws, both guys exhausted, winded, panting, broken furniture, and the 2 other guys yelling at us to keep it down, since they worked early morning shifts.
He used his weight, 275 lbs.
No biggie, I was 140 lbs., played VARSITY football and basketball, on the line as TE or OLB (that's outside linebacker, but a designated pass rush position, like Adam Lynch or old Alden Smith. The tackles who tried to block me, and most did, weighed well over 250, and the pass rusher's I had to block usually around 200 or so, but had a running head start. And when I blocked inside for sweeps, I'd take on the right tackle of the defense, usually someone weighing in around 250 lbs. with help of course, sometimes, from our left offensive tackle. Sometimes he led the left sweeps, while I blocked inwards to pin the Dtackle inside.

Oh sorry, if I didn't make myself clear.
When I graduated from high school, I weighed in around 118, and 5'6". I grew later. I got invited to CCSF's, football program for a tryout, but didn't because I skipped a semester, got involved in racing my TD-3, and couldn't put in the time for practice, shaping surfboards, surfing, and racing. I didn't plan to do any homework, of course. Ended up racing very little, crashing every practice, working on the bike and surfing and shaping surfboards.

Who would know?
I never interviewed for a job I actually got. Never made a resume'.
I usually just walk into a store, asked the manager if there were openings, and got hired right there and then.
