Always a good reminder to hit with a 65. I have a Head Pro in my home office and I the image of Bob Lutz using one with Stan Smith in doubles remains in my mind.
Yes someone did point out that they were the #1 doubles team at one time.
But they are all about hitting the forehand with a slightly OPEN face.
Some sets were on clay and there were lots of bad bounces, even though the courts are very well maintained. I can imagine that facing bad bounces on clay with a 65 sq inch woodie left little margin for top spin.
