Australian Open 2021 final on sunday won't be an ordinary Grand Slam final match. It will be a spectacular battle of two hot streaks.

Daniil Medvedev has won 20 last matches he played. 12 of those 20 came against top 10 players, respectively: Diego Schwartzman and Alexander Zverev at Paris Masters; Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Diego Schwartzman, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem at ATP Finals; Diego Schwartzman, Alexander Zverev and Matteo Berrettini at ATP Cup; Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas at Australian Open.

On the other side, Novak Djokovic is unbeatable once he reaches semi finals at Australian Open. Since 2008 he has won 8 titles, and has 17-match winning streak in semi finals and finals of the mentioned Grand Slam. For this venture he had to beat 14 Top 10 players, including: Roger Federer at AO08; Roger Federer and Andy Murray at AO11; Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal at AO12; David Ferrer and Andy Murray at AO13; Stan Wawrinka and Andy Murray at AO15; Roger Federer and Andy Murray at AO16; Rafael Nadal at AO19; Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem at AO20.

What's even more impressive about Novak's winning streak is that only Andy Murray at AO15 was actually not a Top 5 player at that time, he was 6th seed.

Which of these two hot streaks will come to an end on February 21st?

Normally the matches won in a row streak wins when these kind of clashes happen. So, it should favour Medvedev more. But then it's Djokovic in Australian Open final. So, we'll see what happens this Sunday.
