can anyone tell me the benefits from hybriding bb alu power with vs gut or other kinds of gut compared to stringing it completely with bb alu power? also can you tell me how long the hybrid set up should last? i had bb alu power in my racket for 3 months w/o snapping it so im wondering if i can get smilar results hybriding with gut

Yeah going with straight bb alu is like hiting with a flexy board for 3 months. i use TIMO and I hybrid it with Xcel Premium or nat gut. the benefits are more control and feel due to the nat gut, but also your string resiliency and life will go up because of natty's ability to hold tension and still keep its pop better than any other non-poly. So with BB u get the rock solid tension matainence, power and keep the same set of string as long as you want. or you can combine it with a softer, playable string like nat gut to get better control and feel. You wont have to worry about breaking much either, natty holds up well for at least 3 weeks.
