I never like any adverts on social media and websites. I read the news a few weeks ago that someone got tricked by an advert on Facebook which showed a video (fake AI video) of Elon Musk and politicians endorsing an investment company. The guy lost thousands of dollars because of this scam.
Yesterday my neighbor showed me an advert on her Facebook and she told me how the famous politician endorses this company...an AI-powered investment company. I told her to be very careful... the video is most likely fake and AI generated. Then she said... "oh that's interesting what you're telling me because the woman speaks very fluently..usually she speaks with a lot of gaps between her words.." and then she told me sometimes she could hear an American accent..
LOL I told her straight away that the advert is a scam, and the video is fake. I told her not to trust a lot of Facebook adverts. So many fake stuff and scams out there.
