Before you buy Reebok shoes....

Purchased a pair of Triple Break pumps from here at TW. Like many parents I have to purchase shoes with durability guarantees. I have purchased other brands in the past but this was the first Reebok shoes...and the last. Called Reebok to get them replaced. Even though I paid $70 for the shoes here at TW Reebok will only replace them with a $40 pair of shoes (Reebok Passing Shot) They didnt care that I paid $70 bucks for them. Reebok has Triple Breaks listed for $39.95 clearance so that is all the credit they will issue in terms of replacement value. I have to send them in. Evaluation will take 3-5 weeks and then shipping will be within 30 days of that. The operator said in all honesty that it would be 2-3 months minimum for replacement.

So all you parents who buy shoes with guarantees in mind please use this factual experience in your buying decision if you are considering Reebok shoes.

not a parent, but was considering trying out some reebok shoes and clothing. now i will buy neither. i hope that's at least somewhat of a consolation...the $30 difference could have been spent on tennis balls! i would hate anyone and anything that minimizes my tennis ball buying potential.

Update, the good guys....no the "great guys" here at TW called their Reebok rep and shared the problem I was having with getting a warranty exchange. Thanks to Don and his staff at Tennis Warehouse my problem has been resolved.
