good achievement of ignore list on 1st thread. your attempt at hiding your propaganda is as big a fail as djokovic's overheads.

strange list, why agassi so low and becker so high, why fred so low while borg dat high hmm

Number 6? Pfft, Roger Faterer doesn't belong anywhere this list, he belongs in the back of a catering truck full of Lindt chocolate and other vaguely Swiss confectionary.

Why the empty space?
to separate nole from others. he is the GOAT and has all main records for himself (except all titles). rafa has some very important stats over fed (slams, OG, h2h, CGS, masters, big titles, W%) but fed has other over him (WTF, weeks, greater on 2 out of 3 surfaces, all titles) and they are even on YE#1. sampras has more YE#1 than both and much more weeks than rafa. even connors and lendl have much more weeks than rafa and as many YE#1s as he and fed. nole has clearly separate himself from others in all main criteria (besides MM titles) and did some great staff as nole-slam (on 3 surfaces), apr 17000 ATP points, 2x golden masters and completing tennis. he is greater on rankings stats and at ALL big tournaments tires (slams, WTF, OG and masters) than all other players from the lists! at the other hand many players on the list has won WTF that rafa never did or OG that fed does not.

why not?

why is so strange to discuss 10 greatest tennis players of all time on tennis forums?
that sort of discussion is exactly forums like this are place to do it and are made for exactly such discussions!
i expected this reply. bc you’re obvious nole fan. typically the only ppl who make these threads, constantly justifying him. And theres never an answer here, the point of the thread is typically just abt nole.

Becker is greater than what his 6 slams tell you.

so? what's wrong with that?
when fed had most numbers (not all as nole) i was not taking offense and it did not bother me! why should it? it is normal! i recognized fed as GOAT back at that time. and i means time when i discussed if nole will be top10 or top5 all time greatest (beginning of 2011). or if he will be no1 or not (2009). both times the most people had ridiculed me when i said that he will do it. it is just discuations and time killing staffs. it is just funny thing to do and discuss. why take it so hard?

what is sylly, even dumb and ridicules is to not be allowed to discuss that on tennis forums!

methinks hes slightly overrated due to nostalgia factor, it can happen easily, no problems

Becker has always been rated high, even when we were little kids in the late 90s we had heard of names like Boris Becker in countries where tennis was not existing at a significant level. Boris was big and revolutionary tennis player, I would not ever say he is overrated.

Boris won 3 wimbledons and maybe would have won 1 more if he had converted one of his bad losses to a win somewhere. In that era these many wimbledons automatically meant world famous because everybody wanted to win wimbledon.

You are big novak fan maybe biggest novak fan but no need to put fedrer and nadal down 5 places.
Borg premature retirement leaves many questions. Maybe he could have won more or was totally finished.
Rod laver is intersting case as many oldies still find him GOAT contender.
And SAMPRAS no matter how much he was good at wimbeldon is no comparision to RAFA who was more dominant than anyone ever played in clay court. 14 slam is SAMPRAS TOTAL and rafa acheived that in single slam . And 8 more to tally Sampras is nowhere in the top list.
Fedrer who has 20 slams but still considered better than nadal by many pundits but let us put him below nadal but never below Sampras.
So your list needs some correction.

i think too that rafa is probably over sampras and his slam records is ofcourse greater but sampras has other arguments too. he has 6 YE#1 vs rafas 5. and he had 6 champions years in a row while rafa never had 2 consecutive YE#1s! sampras had also 286 weeks at #1 while rafa had "only" 209. sampras won 5 WTFs while rafa never won any. sapras was the GOAT for many years while rafa had slam record for a while but never was the GOAT. and all that and especially no1 stats are main GOAT criteria along with slams.

oh suddenly winning is not everything and becker can be elevated for non record factors

Let me put across my opinion, why I had chosen Sampras above Rafa and Roger,

When someone had achieved 6 consecutive Year End #1 (which is still a record btw), even in Roger's Prime Era he was unable to achieve it consecutively!

Look, comparing legends across different era is extremely difficult but if someone (like me) analyse it thoroughly and delve himself completely in following Year After Year on ATP Tour, one can starts seeing things on a purely neutral basis.

Again Sampras retired early, that's why he doesn't have more number of slams. But as a player if we have to compare I will always put Sampras ahead of Roger and Rafael, even he himself would not consider him ahead of them, but analysts like us can clearly state the obvious!
