lol people coming in to whine, why cant everyone just be happy for Murray and GB? If Nadal won the WTF, id be happy for him to complete all the "big" events. I would love to see Djokovic finally win the French open and id be happy even tho neither of them are players i paticularly enjoy watching. This is great for GB and Murray so just enjoy it!

Lol@ John Lloyd making out that Djokovic is the only player capable of beating Murray these days. :D

LOL, he said that? Isn't this the same guy that was berating Murray just a few days ago for not doing enough for British tennis. That guy is a clown.

If I wasn't a Murray fan I would have turned off by now. Can barely stomach Andrew Castle's nonsense and him overyhping this small time event. The way he was going on you'd think he beat Federer and Djokovic back to back.

Lawl 2-10 against Djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Wawrinka combined.

But let's give it to him, other than Djokovic he's been by far the most consistent player out there. He just needs to do better against the top top players.

Great effort from Murray to lead GB to the Davis Cup, not matter what people say here. The Davis Cup is a huge thing, no matter the competition, and he's put so much heart in this campaign. There's still the whole off season to whine about him not beating Federer.

You know what Fed did in Davis Cup this year? He beat Thiemo de Bakker and Jesse Huta Galung, along with losing the doubles.

Let's say consistency = at least the SF (so playing to your seed/ranking)

Federer

Slams - 2/4
Masters - 3/7
WTF - 1/1

Murray
Slams - 3/4
Masters - 7/8
WTF - 0/1

Federer was able to make a bigger dent when he got past the QF but Murray got there more consistently.

I would agree with this. Murray had great consistency overall.

Hope he can put it right next year.

Not only that, the only time he failed to reach the SF in a MS was because he gave a W/O to Goffin, he was also a whisker from reaching the SF of the WTF (I think he would've beaten Wawrinka had he won the 1st set) so the only obvious early loss was at the US Open to GOATERSON (I watched the entire match and Kevin was just outstanding).

Fair enough.
