You heard it first here fellas.
Berrettini's looking unbeatable in this tournament and he'll send Novak to monte carlo in 4.
Here is why-
  • He's met Novak 2 times this year, in wimby and RG losing in 4 sets.
  • He's never beaten a top 10 player in slams
  • He's been in a terrific form lately losing in R3 in cincy.
  • Has beaten champions like Otte, Ivashka, Moutet an Chardy. Who's is Novak in front of them.
So, do ya agree?

I thought it was the other 3 guys Djokovic faced so far that were supposed to do that.

Novak is in a rapid decline.

His early-year form was propped-up by some "gimme" draws, the absence of long-standing rivals, and the flakiness of some of the NextGen cohort.

But the Olympics was his "Emperer has no clothes" moment.

Matteo "The Hammer" Berrettini is growing in experience and nous, and will avenge the unfortunate recent losses at Roland Garros and SW19.

I expect the likeable 25-year-old Roman to "unleash the lions" at the "Colosseum" tonight.

Alas, there will be no "gladiator" standing in the path to fend off this mauling.

Walmart Delpo isnt doing nothing.

The only thing that intrigues me about this match is: Am I going to fall asleep before it starts? Anyways, hoping for a good match.

I have a feeling that all the posters mocking Berretini will become his decade old fan once he takes one of the first two sets today.

This might be Novak's easy match. They had Thiem giving a rundown on this match today, and he said Berrettini doesn't have the game to trouble Djokovic, because he relies so heavily on his forehand and serve...

HARD disagree.
IF Berrettini wins Novak will go back to MONACO!!! Geez. Common people. He doesn't live in Serbia.

Anyway, Berrettini is having a good tournament but Djoker has his number this year and I think Novak takes the match in 4. Berrettini will need to redline for about 3+ hours and doesn't have that fitness level.

Novak may well be past his prime. But this is an awful matchup for Berretini. He has no backhand. Novak will neutralize his serve. What’s left? His forehand? Novak’s is better. Net game? Novak has some of the best passing shots in the world.

Wait. I forgot that he lives in MC. Gotta edit

Novak doesn't have a very good net game but I dare say, it better than berry's if we exclude djokosmash.

I have my prayer beads out. Been dancing in the moonlight. Calling upon the spirts. It's gotta work!

Berrettini didn't look significantly better than Ivashka
Big serve big forehand, but the best players can expose his backhand.

The only thing exposed here is the inability of at least 50% of the posters to spell the Italian's name correctly

Wrong. Nobody spells F-O-G-N-I-N-I incorrectly, I assure you.

:-D Yes! 20 major titles, 25 matches won in a row at the majors. This false dawn definitely needs exposing. Someone get on it.

ESPN is hyping up Djokovic's ill-fated attempt at the Calendar Year Grand Slam more than ever today.
I think they know Novak is about to lose to Matteo, so today is the last day for them to use the Calendar Year Grand Slam as a marketing tool.
Ah yes, NADALalot, the man who never misses a prediction, making yet another prediction.

Wonder how this will turn out.

Why is no one picking up on the sarcasm from the OP?:-D

Still trying to figure how the hell Berry won that first set at Wimbledon Final, after starting out horribly. Nerves? Weirdest set ever.

We will now need to see if Berry has matured and learned to calmed down.

Djokovic seems to start slowly in a lot of matches. That's the only explanation I can think of.

It’s going to be like WW2. The Serb is going to absolutely clown the Italian but the German or Russian further in the draw might have a shot
