#1 Liam Draxl vs John McNally-think McNally has a decent chance of this one
Blumberg vs Kingsley, winner probably will play #3 Hady Habib in 2nd round tough early rounds
Gustaf Storm (AZ 1s freshman) vs #4 Vacherot
VA's freshman Von Schulenberg vs FL #5 Duarte Vale
I saw the brackets here but they should be on NCAA site.
Only two US players are seeded: Sam Riffice and Trent Bryde who has NC State's Galarneau (has won Challenger matches) in 1st rd
Does any American have a chance to win NCAAs and US Open WC? two of the highest UTR US players play each other 1st rd-Kingsley vs Blumberg. Kovacevic is another possible option.
In UTR order, the top US D1 collegians in the NCAAs are Kovacevic, Kingsley, Blumberg, Riffice, Nefve of Notre Dame, and McNally. Hady Habib who would fall in that group of UTR 13.5-14.0 may be considered American for WC purposes-born in Houston but played for Lebanon Davis Cup so I am not sure. If he counts too, he would be the 3rd seeded American collegian. However, with the current draw, only one of Blumberg, Kingley, and Habib will reach the 3rd round. Riffice could be tired from all the NCAA team matches.
