What is the best airline you flew with?
Strange that Jet Blue is not on the list. Unless you're able to routinely fly business class, it's the favorite of pretty much everyone I know as they have only one class of service, with far more room for each passenger.
So far that I have flown, the best is Cathay Pacific. I hear Singapore is very nice.
Air France is great, I always fly with them.
When traveling within the US, I always use SouthWest when possible. Booking online, printable boarding passes, curbside checkin...all a major plus. When traveling across the Atlantic, ALWAYS Virgin Atlantic...hands down, the best. I love their service. My brother highly recommends JAL for their food and comfort.
Aer Lingus is ok...
if you can fly jetblue always do so. never once had an issue with them.
I believe Quantas are the safest!
I forgot about Jet Blue!
I believe you have to pay to use the toilet! lol.
For domestic US travel, Continental.
Internationally, Air New Zealand and KLM
The best airlines that I have flew on is British Airways.
But to compensate, they fly you to an airport 100 miles from civilization.
A true bargain that Ryanair.
Virgin Atlantic or Singapore. Best in terms of service and comfort.
Emirates tops my list.
British Airways by a large margin.
Best domestic I've been on is Virgin. The interior looks clean and modern, the seats are comfy, way more room than most, their workers are super friendly... I'm amazed by how tore up most cabins are. Rips on seats, wobbly trays, missing magazine holders...
Eastern, Braniff, America West, Pan Am, Ozark, Piedmont, National, Aloha, TWA, Republic and Allegheny. ;o)
Strange that the intent of airline deregulation was to increase competition and it has had the opposite effect.
I'm of the opinion that all airlines suck. It is simply a matter of which flight one gets stuck on. I dislike flying unless it is an almost empty flight.
I usually fly Continental or Southwest. Both seem to have the same quality of service. I flew American Airline to Hawaii two summers ago and i was not impressed.
From the poll, I've only used AA and Delta. My favorite so far was Lufthansa for an intercontinental flight from Germany to United States.
they lost my luggage and screwed up my connecting flight twice so I am not a big fan of them either. Flying to Europe I found British Airways to be much better than American.
Westjet. (10 char.)
Air France and Turkish Airlines
Best one I found so far is the Hooters Air.
Am also a proud member of the Mile High Club
They went out of business a few years ago. Apparently, the problem was that those pictured above were the pilots.
However, they could be used as flotation devices in the event of a water landing.
Sorry sir, we had to revoke your membership. Masturbating in the lavatory does not count.
British Airways and Austrian were great.
I really like JAL, SAS, and Air France. When I was in college, I had a strange seat on a British Airways London to Paris flight where a cute stewardess sat facing me about three meters away on the takeoff and landing. We talked about films, had the same tastes, and ended up having a very nice date in Paris, so I will always be a fan of British Airways as well.
Very nice! Where was she from? I know it was a British Airways flight but they usually have a number of foreign attendants too.
She was a student from Bristol and had taken time off to travel.
I've only been on United and Qantas, and imo, Qantas was my favourite.
Qantas is definitely good. Air Canada is so so. Had one positive flight with them and another wasn't too pleasant mostly due to a snobby male attendant.
cheap domestic: Southwest, Jet Blue
standard domestic: Air Canada, Westjet, Frontier
standard international: British Airways, Turkish, Austrian
premium international: Virgin Atlantic, LAN
As far as domestic airlines go, all the major US carriers have crappy interiors save for Air Canada, Westjet and JetBlue, each of which have in-seat audio/video systems.
In my experience of world travel, Singapore Airlines have the prettiest cabin crew.
Separate names with a comma.
