9. Steffi Graf 1996: 54-4 (93.10 %)
10. Steffi Graf 1993: 76-6 (92.68 %)
and Serena Williams 2003: 38-3 (92.68 %)

Quite interesting:

Monica Seles's 1992 (year before stabbing), Serena Williams's 2002 (when she won 3 slams) and Venus Williams's 2000 (her best year ever) are NOT among the 10 best performances of the last 20 years!
And Graf has FIVE years that are better than Seles's best, even SEVEN that are better than Seles's 1992 (year before stabbing).

Just as you have been doing on the other tennis board where you were BANNED, NO AMOUNT OF YOUR TWISTED GERM/ANTI SELES PROPAGANDA AND DISTORTED FABRICATED STATS WILL EVER MAKE YOUR IDOL THE GREATEST EVER. lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

A newbie? How many ALIASES do you have Joe "Gunther" Pike? WOW, do you really think that posters in this board are as stupid as you? LOL ...yes, fairly fanatical misleading post...

Dude, whatever is bothering you, don't bring me into it. I have no aliases, I'm a tennis fan.
Seles and Graf were both great players, and we'll never know what could have been if Seles wasn't stabbed, so what's the point of all this name-calling?
Chill out already

You are really one VERY sick pup Joe Pike. You have used this twisted ALIAS tactic many times already in other boards until they finally have enough of your psychotic fantasies and obsessions...to finally BAN you. And rightfully so. ha, ha, ha, ha

To be honest I don't even really follow womens tennis that closely, I'm more interested in the men's game. I was just curious about your reference to a *Parche factor?
This is my last post regarding the matter, I'm not Joe Pike, case closed.

Welcome Rhino, you have just experienced how some members of this forum suffer from heavy mental disorders.

I've learned the hard way that there is no way you can argue with them, they just firmly believe that the last one who talks always wins, so no matter what you write and the proofs you provide to backup your points, they will always come back after you, and call you names, with them, a thread ends only when the last post is from themselves <it gives them the impression that they are right, that they "won a debate", and convinced other peoples to believe their b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t.s>... Fortunately they are not so much, so once you have identified them, it is easy to ignore them, and to enjoy the general quality of this message board.

Seles played a full season in 1996, even won a slam. Later she was injured a lot. And Graf was almost in peak form again.

BTW, what about the fact that Graf had 4 seasons in 1987-90 (pre-Seles-stabbing) that were superior to Seles's two best seasons ever (1991/92)? Actually Seles's 91 and 92 seasons were among the 3 worst for a #1 player in 1983-1997.
So how someone really can suggest that Seles of 91/92 was "on her way to be the greatest player ever" is beyond me. LSD? Crack?

Joe Pike,

It's great that you love Steffi and all that. But you have to forgive the rest of us for being upset with you for doing what you did to Monica. I mean, was that really necessary?

Joe Pike, you should change your username to GrafCheng.

Fee, I agree.

This Joe Pike is of different breed and a persona non grata in other tennis boards. PierceCheng is a weirdo but this Pike guy is really TWISTED and completely obsessed with Graf.

Good post spinbalz, you are completely on target here. I tried to reason with the Graf and Seles fanatic(s), but I quickly learned. I have added tundra, williams planet, scoot, joe pike, and wtaplayerz to my ignore list and anyone else who is interested in serious insightful tennis discussion should do the same. I am 99% sure that williams planet, wtaplayerz, and tundra are the same poster using different aliases.

...other tennis boards...

Do such things exist? Where, besides here, do the intelligent tennis fans go? I am only familiar with the Steve G, Tennis-X, TennisWeek, and MTF boards (I gave up on the newsgroup at google ages ago).
