This is simply unbelievable. She completely transformed this Elton John song into something extraordinary.

"Poor Otis/Dead and Gone" was a really good song writer. Etta James covers his "Security" better than Franklin ever sang anything.

Now that I think of it, Eurethra Franklin sings 2 great covers: Say a Little Prayer. Very dated but it reminds me of a fun time in my life. And, Chain of Fools.

Lil' trivia for ya: Janis Joplin's Piece of My Heart was a cover. Guess who sang the original? (There's a big, fat, shrill clue on this post!) Answer below.

I've never heard a good cover of Born to Be Wild, and I've heard great singers attempt it. I saw Steppenwolf once. In the late '80s. They were fantastic. John Kay sang just like he did in the'60s. And he was surprisingly good-looking, too.

Bad Rabbits - Sextape (Deftones cover)

This cover is so good, Deftones actually said they think Bad Rabbits' version is better.

Chris Cornell did a pretty decent cover of Nothing Compares 2 U. It's on Yootoob.

Misteralf - Last train to London (ELO). While I wouldn't say it's a great cover I don't mind the video.

I think David Goffin sang the original electric version. :D

Swedish 70s jazz-funk cover of a Ravel classic — don't get much better/worse than that.

Is this a cover? I thought McDonald wrote the original and was later sampled by Warren G's Regulate. Michael McDonald's voice is pure silk. One of my favorite vocalists.

My favorite cover is Cake's remake of "I will survive".
