Best DRESS shoes for cushioning and comfort

Hey everyone,

So it seems everyone here is a fan of the asics gel resolutions or the prince t22's. But does anyone have any suggestions for the best dress shoes for cushioning and comfort.

My dress shoes for work are pretty uncomfortable and I can't wait to get them off every day after work.

Rockport or ecco. If you want to go a bit more add a gel insert. Stay away from leather soles if you have comfort issues.

+1 For rockport. I have a couple pairs and they're perfect in terms of comfort and looks

Agree 100% with Ecco. Very comfortable shoes. Pricey though.

Just wear your tennis shoes to work, nobody will notice.

Prada are the most comfortable dress shoes and last the longest. Just stay away from Prada Sport if you don't want to look like a walking advertisement, the red rubber on the back isn't to my tastes.

Ferragamo are a close second.

After learning that "dress shoes" cause serious footpain and an abnormal style of walk I quit wearing such things many years ago.
Today only Adidas Superstars for me. They come in various colors, so you can match them with all kind of clothes, if you want.
I do not care about matching, I have a pair of blue superstars and a pair of the white ones. That's enough for me.

Wherever my Superstars are considered inappropriate, I won't go.

Rockport makes wingtips. Dress shoes they are and it is what I use.
