Best drop weight with good base clamps stringing machine

I am looking to buy a drop weight and customize it to be best electronic stringing machine without exceeding the price of a readymade electronic stringing machine (for e.g. Gamma ELS).

I have read lots of articles and expert advises in multiple threads and concluded on two machines with Wise 2086

I have Tourna 150-CS and Alpha Pioneer Dc Plus.

I am in confusion, which one should I buy in terms of build quality and Base clamps.
If base clamps are not good, what clamps should I upgrade it to.
Is Wise 2086 compatible without compromising 360deg. I heard low height adaptor makes it possible.

If I am going in wrong direction, please suggest me.

If tourna is my best option @Irvin could you please help me in getting some discount on this. I saw some threads you helped some members. Much appreciated.

The Alpha has better base clamps AND a linear gripper.

The Tourna can't compete betweeen the two.

Just my opinion. Others may love cone lock bases and rotational grippers...

You can fit the Wise to anything. Choose 360 or not (may need a little "fab" work, but very mild).

If you have 2 DWs why are you looking to buy one.

Sorry. I mean to say “have two options in my mind”. Please suggest one of them or if any thing else is better.

Buy a used crank and replace the tension head with a WISE. That will be cheaper than buying a new DW and getting the WISE.

If I were to buy a forget it-just use it machine now, I would opt for a Swingway. The slowest part of using a DW is getting the bar level. This is a non issue with auto DW.

Gamma Progression II/X if you want an awesome, light, easy peasy, no hassles or frills, that will last as long as you do if taken care of properly. I used to own a dc+....gamma is soooo much lighter and simple. I don't care for linear grippers on drops, but that's me.

Had Gamma ELS for couple of days and I felt the Alpha is much sturdier than Gamma machines. Also some posts here says clamps are much better on alpha. Plus alpha gravity clamp bases are 100% compatible which is optional but beneficial upgrade. On top of all COST almost $300 which I can spend on Wise 2086.
