Best Durable Poly Co-Poly?

I just used solinco hyper g, and it's ok but like most strings I've used, after 3/4 hits (say 2hrs per hit) it's just dead.

I change my strings but don't have a lot of time, so I'm looking for a string that holds tension the best (mine is around 58-60 lbs).

And works best with what gauge? I hit with a lot of top spin but don't mind hitting with a thicker gauge.

Pattern: 16x19

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

do you physically break the string? if not, I believe (according to tw database too?) a thinner gauge tends to have less tension loss than their thicker cousins

The title of your thread is misleading. You want a string with minimal tension loss, not essentially durable. However, if you are searching for a combination of both,i would suggest either x-perience or yellow jacket from signum pro.

The best I have found are normally 1.25 for tension loss, durability, and playability. Normally looking to get around 6hrs of play before cutting them out.
Hyper G
Tourna Big Hitter
Max Power

No I normally cut out the poly before they break - but even then they are thoroughly "muted".

Thanks.

How many rackets do you play with and how often do you re-string? How long does it take you to re-string? 6 hours play for me is gone in 3 sessions (I do two sessions a week now). I can string a racket from scratch in 45 mins. I'm no pro but I do my own, mainly at night after work and putting the family to bed! So I'm looking for minimal stringing sessions really (and I'm def not paying somebody else to do it)

Poly that holds tension the best? 4G, hands down. 4G’s stiffness and playability present problems for some players, though.

Kirschbaum strings might be worth a look as well - many of them are factory pre stretched to mitigate tension loss. Maybe start by trying Proline 2, or the aforementioned Max Power.

Yeah I have really been impressed with yellow jacket- long lasting with good power and spin.

I would say Babolat Origin 16, Head FXP 16, Prince Premier Control 15L. The last one is one of my favorites. It offers poly like control and durability is good. These are not polys but they offer very good control and you can play until it snaps.
