Was thinking about this last night, as of now I'd say Fred Stolle/Sandon Stolle, but Dent/Dent is starting to look pretty good. Can't think of too many more, is Vijay's kid still playing the satellites ? I know Stan Smith's kid played at Duke, but not sure if he's playing the tour....

Dent-Dent by far. Phil made the finals of the Aussie Open in '74 & the quarters of '77 Wimbledon. Taylor is far better than Sandon ever was.

That's why the "LOL" was at the end of the post. Common knowledge that was a standin. Reply was supposed to be a joke. Musta fallen on deaf ears.

Do Martina Hingis and Melanie Molitor count? I know Molitor considers herself a former tennis player. I know its not mother-daughter, but the 3 Maleeva sisters must be a record for players from one family--except for the tie by the Sanchez family (2 brothers and sister).

Wow. I didn't realize Phil had that kind of success. I saw him play once in a Davis Cup doubles on clay against Japan in Japan, back sometime in the mid-70's. What I recall is that his strokes were not the prettiest. What I especially remember is that his backhand was sort of a punch or chop with no follow thru. I think his doubles partner was either John Alexander or maybe Kim Warwick, or at least someone who was relatively tall. It seemed that part of the Aussie strategy in that match was intimidation and power. During the warmups, Dent totally blasted every ball hit to him from his Japanese counterpart ensuring there was absolutely no rhythm to the warmup. I don't recall ever seeing that during prematch warmups with opponents. My recollection of the match is that the Aussies overpowered the Japanese team. It's funny. I saw the singles matches as well, but I don't really recall anything about them. What I recall is Dent's backhand and warmup behaviour.
